Deb works with tiny seed beads to make beaded jewelry, scarves and neckwear, using both loom and off-loom weaving techniques.  She considers her scarves to be her signature pieces, which she describes as “painting with beads.” Each scarf has tens of thousands of tiny beads, and incorporates a wide variety of colors, shapes and sizes, all of which create a rich visual texture. She is a state-juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen. “A Play in a Week” Camps - Ages 5-7 & 8-12
Campers will once again enjoy the world of theatre at our beautiful Meredith campus. The week long experience will include theatre games and improvisation, creating characters, exploring our set, prop, and costume shops, and creating their very own original play all in one week to perform for family and friends at the end of the last class! Each week is a new play so sign up for more than one!

This year both groups will use the same familiar story as a jumping off point and create their own original twist based on their theme!

The 5-7 age group will create “The Real Story of...” and create a play from the villain‛s point of view. See what happens to the story you think you know when our campers get their hands on it! You‛ll never look at it the same again!

Originally organized in 1978, the Gilford Community Band is a concert band sponsored by the Gilford Recreation Commission to provide entertainment for the public and a venue for area musicians to perform. The band consists of volunteer musicians from throughout the Lakes Region with membership exceeding 50 musicians of all ages.
