Profile Bank Receives Top CRA Rating

ROCHESTER – Profile Bank is pleased to announce that it has received an “Outstanding/1” Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Rating from the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS).  An “Outstanding” rating is the highest rating on a 1-4 scale.  This rating represents how well Profile Bank meets the credit needs of its communities, including low- and moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods, consistent with safe and sound operation of the institution. 

Profile Bank’s loan portfolio nearly doubled since their last examination, which was completed on March 30, 2004.  Of the total number of residential loans originated during the current review period, 30.5% were to LMI borrowers. 

In 2006, Profile originated a $300 thousand mortgage loan as part of a $10 million Low Income Housing Tax Credit Project and in 2008, Profile provided a $1 million line of credit to a state agency, in participation with other financial institutions, to meet the ongoing demands of student loans.

Based on the OTS qualifications for LMI contributions, Profile Bank contributed more than $50,000 to seven organizations that provide community services.  These services include food, fuel assistance and housing.  This is a small portion of Profile Bank’s total monetary contributions to their communities.
